Karen's career as a personal began when she studied Pilates under Susan Greskevitch and Margot McKinnon at Body Harmonics, Toronto, Ontario. Certified through The Physical Mind Institude Karen's Certification includes over 400 hours of training on Mat, Ball, and Pilates equipment such as Cadillac, Reformer and Wanda Chair.
The next logical step was to open her own Pilates studio. This dream was realized in April 2005. The studio now offers a range of Pilates Private, Semi-private and class sessions. The studio also offers Yoga classes, Anat Baniel Method Functional Synthesis (sm) sessions and Feldenkrais®classes.

With this knowledge Karen brought to the community an abundance of information to assist clients in improving Tone, Agility, Balance and Strength.
Karen was one of six Pilates instructors featured on Rogers Cable Daily for 50 weeks in 2003-2004 season. She has published 2 videos and 2 books.
Always seeking innovative techniques, Karen had another "ah-ha" moment when she was introduced to Feldenkreis in a class offered by Olena Nitefor. In 2004, she began her studies in the Anat Baniel Method (sm) of Feldenkrais working with Marion Harris at the Feldenkrais Centre in Toronto. She began a series of one-day workshops to learn the movements of Feldenkrais.
She was accepted for Feldenkrais courses in San Raffel, CA., January and February 2005. With the training she receives, her teaching skills continue to be enhanced making for even better classes.
As of February 11, 2007 Karen is a certified Anat Baniel Method (sm) Practitioner.
Her studies in this field take her to a whole new world of working with children and adults with neurological concerns.
